What a way to closeout a stadium. I hear they scheduled the Ravens for that last game... Chose the Ravens! Should have been thinking Lions instead. Anyway Ravens closed out Texas Stadium with two back to back touchdown runs for over 75 yards.

It seems myself, Gogoluver & Myjestik are all tied up now heading into the final stretch trying to break away from one another for the win. Games to watch next week are Rams vs Falcons, Patriots vs Bills, Panthers vs Saints, Raiders vs Buccaneers, Jaguars vs Ravens, Dolphins vs Jets, Cowboys vs Eagles & Broncos vs Chargers. Note: I completely forgot about the Bears & the Vikings who are both also playing for the playoffs. All these games have a major impact on how the playoff picture pans out. St. Louis Rams vs. Atlanta Falcons

Gogoluver: Falcons I actually think the Falcons could come out of the NFC. They have a strong offense that can put up points and their defense is run by John Abraham. So they will probably make a good push.
Matchz: Falcons I've been saying it for a while now, I think it would be awesome for the Falcons to make to the Super Bowl out of the NFC.
Myjestik: FalconsI'm going to be very strategic, so plan for my picks to change every now and then. Except this one lol.

New England Patriots vs. Buffalo Bills

Gogoluver: Patriots The Patriots need some help to make the playoffs but the first thing they need to do is win and they will do that this week.
Matchz: Bills Lets put it this way, I'm more rooting for the Bills than expecting them to win. But I'm hoping my will for them to win, will pass onto them and they will somehow pull this one out.
Myjestik: PatriotsBills are not the same team they once were when they were like 5-1. I think that was their record.

Kansas City Chiefs vs. Cincinnati Bengals

Gogoluver: Chiefs I have been trying to roll with Tyler Thigpen all year but it usually has not helped. This might be Tony Gonzales last year with the Chiefs or the NFL altogether. So he will work for this last win for the season.
Matchz: Bengals Maybe T.J. Whouz-ya-mama was right when he said the Bengals would finish the season on a positive note and not go out like the Lions... Unless they go for the Draft pick in this game and play like chumps in which case I'll be pissed.
Myjestik: BengalsI actually like the Chiefs in this game, but it always seems like they have a good lead and then blow it in the fourth quarter.

Detroit Lions vs. Green Bay Packers

Gogoluver: Packers I spent too much time on this pick. Packers will win sadly. But the Lions better sign Sam Bradford with their first pick. Leave Crabtree alone.
Matchz: Packers I feel really bad for the Lions, thats got to hurt being a rookie and never experiencing an NFL win. Too bad thats whats going to happen, because they aren't getting there first win against the Packers. Better be glad about that sure thing number 1 draft pick.

Chicago Bears vs. Houston Texans

Gogoluver: Texans It's in Houston. Houston went on a little streak before they lost last week and they still have Andre Johnson and Owen Daniels. I am going to go with the Texans with the upset pick.
Matchz: Bears The Bears are trying to make it to the Playoffs. If they win and the Vikings lose they will be screaming Hallelujah all the way back to the Chi.
Myjestik: BearsThe Bears are playing for a playoff spot. The Texans aren't really playing for anything.

Tennessee Titans vs. Indianapolis Colts

Gogoluver: ColtsManning...to Dallas...for 6...all day.
Matchz: Titans I'm not sure how much either team cares about this game since both of them clinched a playoff birth already. The Titans are the better team though so I think they will win.
Myjestik: ColtsPeyton Manning is playing like a man possessed. If the Colts get a double digit lead, I expect the Titans to pass the ball... Did I mention they suck at passing. See Texans game.

New York Giants vs. Minnesota Vikings

Gogoluver: Giants The Vikings showed last week that the win against the Cardinals was fluke. Tavaris Jackson sucks.
Matchz: Giants For some reason I don't see the Giants letting up on the Vikings in this game. The Bears may just make the playoffs off sheer luck.
Myjestik: GiantsThe Giants are trying to remain strong for their long playoff run. I don't even see the Vikings secondary doing much with Eli Manning running the show.

Carolina Panthers vs. New Orleans Saints

Gogoluver: Panthers Deangelo Williams, Johnathan Stewart, ANNNNNND Steve Smith?? The weak New Orleans defense can't stop all that especially the running game.
Matchz: Panthers Same goes as above, the Panthers are probably pretty mad about that OT loss to the Giants and will most likely take it out on the next team they play... Unfortunately for New Orleans that happens to be the Saints.
Myjestik: PanthersI still think Drew Brees will throw all over these guys, but maybe that defense will fail them yet again.

Cleveland Browns vs. Pittsburgh Steelers

Gogoluver: Steelers I would like to see the D.C. native Byron Leftwich play. He beat the shit out of us (Redskins) in the second half of our game.
Matchz: Steelers I think a Steelers fourth string could beat the browns right about now. They just lost to the Bengals. How mad would Browns fans be if the Bengals finished the season with a better record than them.

Oakland Raiders vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Matchz: Buccaneers This NFC wild card scenario is rather confusing. Regardless the Buccs will help their chances with a win over this struggling Raiders team (that win over Houston means nothing).

Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Baltimore Ravens

Gogoluver: RavensIf the Jaguars had some receivers that did not sniff coke they would be a good team. Too bad. I am not going for the Ravens to make any noise in the playoffs but just to keep the Patriots out.
Matchz: Ravens If the Ravens lose this game I may just "Cry Me A River" (c) Justin Timberlake. Might make a video and everything *no homo*. The Ravens win this and they are in the Playoffs. It may be a tougher game than I earlier expected though after the way the Jags played against the Colts last week. I'm entrusting my Ravens to keep the Patriots out of the Playoffs.
Myjestik: RavensI'm pretty disappointed with the Jaguars, but when they get healthy, and go through the draft, they are going to be a powerhouse.

Miami Dolphins vs. New York Jets

Gogoluver: Dolphins I wouldn't mind Brett Favre going home. I feel he shouldn't have tried to come back anyway when the team had moved on without him. Brett, you are going to the hall. Go home, sir.
Matchz: Dolphins When asked what team I'd like to play in the first round of the playoffs I responded the Broncos... They were taken, so the Dolphins will do. If the Dolphins beat the Jets they are in the post season and are granted a visit from the Ravens. The Jets actually have a good chance at this though. Wait, no they don't they just lost to the Seahawks...
Myjestik: DolphinsThe Dolphins are the suprise team. I really don't care what you say about Atlanta. When a team goes 1-15 one year and the next is in the playoffs, I applaud.

Dallas Cowboys vs. Philadelphia Eagles

Gogoluver: Eagles I have witnessed crumble under pressure for 3 straight years since last week and he will keep it going this week.
Matchz: Cowboys This was really a toss up. Its going to come down to which team wants the win more. After losing to the Ravens in the LAST game of their OWN stadium. I think that team is the Cowboys, they wont be to happy going into next week.
Myjestik: EaglesThe Cowboys crumble like they always do towards the end of the year.

Seattle Seahawks vs. Arizona Cardinals

Gogoluver: Cardinals Got to keep their hopes up in the playoffs even though they are not going anywhere.
Matchz: Cardinals They got OWNED by New England last week, but the Seahawks are still the Seahawks regardless of that surprise win over the Jets last week. I the everything goes back to normal this week and the Cardinals beat the Hawks.
Myjestik: CardinalsThe only reason why the Seahawks one is because they wanted to let Coach Mike go out of Seattle a winner. It won't work in Arizona.

Washington Redskins vs. San Fransisco 49ers

Gogoluver: Redskins Our defense is in the top 10. Chris Horton is a beast as a rookie. Laron Landry is a beast in his second year. So I see a bright future on the defense. Offense on the other hand. We just have to get used to our system. But I feel we are headed in the right direction.
Matchz: Redskins The Redskins want to end the season as a still somewhat respected NFC East team. A win this week will leave them with some dignity if the Eagles lose too. Otherwise everyone is going to be talking about how trash the Skins are... they dont want that, they are going to go into Cali and give 'em "what for"
Myjestik: RedskinsI honestly think the the 9ers will pull this off, but I'll pick this for Cornell.

Denver Broncos vs. San Diego Chargers

Gogoluver: Chargers The Broncos have no one to shut down LT or Philip Rivers so the Chargers will get into the playoffs. BRONCOS SUCK!
Matchz: Broncos If the Broncos lose this game, I think they are going to pull out Uzi's and shoot the whole Chargers team. The Broncos were set up to pretty much waltz into the playoffs with a nice lowly record and all of a sudden they started losing and the Chargers started winning. The Broncos will shut down LT and Rivers for their prides sake. If not I feel for all San Diego fans in that stadium as they witness a tradegy.
